The taqueria is excellent. Asada tacos are good. Barbacoa is amazing. The California burrito was pretty good as well. The verde sauces are yummy and they sell them in the market as well which is fantastic. You order at the counter and sit to eat if you want and the service has been excellent. The market has so many things you can't get anywhere else around here.

There are some important things to know about this place in Q4, 2024: First: they moved. New location is almost directly across the street but is about 4X larger. 11982 Paul Mayer Ave, Bridgeton, MO 63044 Second: the taco stand is now an everyday thing. They have at least a dozen booths so dining-in is no problem. Third: fresh tortillas in the back of the store are an everyday thing. Sold by the pound. Stand there looking for a minute and someone will offer you one. Salt and salsa on the table. Beyond those notes, an all-around great Mexican store!

The new location is beyond amazing. It has everything you can imagine. Plan to eat there. It's delicious!

I love their wide array of options. They have such a variety of foods and fresh produce. I will say you should know a little Spanish if you are going to the store because a lot of items are written in Spanish. They have so many options to choose from. On the weekends, they also serve fresh tacos, which I haven't had a chance to try, but I will definitely be back for. They also had fresh fried pork rinds, which tasted really good.

The BEST taco's in StL. Had the carne and the chorizo tacos. We need more places like this!! Cool market too.

My friend and I had heard about the weekend taco stand that happens here and we went to check it out on a Saturday for lunch. We asked the cashier who said opening hours were 9am - 5pm on Saturday and Sunday. The setup is pretty simple-- you order when you walk in on the right, then pick up your tacos on the left. Service is very fast and our food took a maximum of 2-3 min before we had a plate of tacos to load toppings on. Everything was fresh and tasty, and the portions of meat were very reasonable. The quesadilla I got had a large helping of lengua, and I ended up eating it more like a giant taco. There is seating through the doors in the grocery store to the right, although not a lot. My total came out to around $11, and it was definitely worth every penny. Overall we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and will definitely look to go back sometime soon!

These are some of the best authentic tacos I've ever had especially the carne! Their chicken quesadillas are also some of the best I've ever had. They only do them on Saturdays and Sundays though!

On Sundays they serve food right when you walk in the door. The pastor tacos were yummy and they had toppings to choose from yourself. But, the real star of the show is their horchata-probably my favorite that I've had in St. Louis 10/10. You're in a supermarket, but they have tables to sit at after you walk in to the right. So, after eating you can take a look around and buy some delicious things to make at home.

One thing St. Louis doesn't have a shortage of is places that serve tacos. Whether it be, restaurants, corner markets, or bars, most tacos I've had were decent to pretty good. The tacos at El Morelia Super Mercado are top tier!!! I stumbled upon this gem because I've been searching for charro beans. While living in Texas, it was always easy to find them, but I found so much more. I'm a little disappointed that tacos are only served on Saturday and Sunday but the fact they they the best tacos I've had it just gives me something to look forward to after a hard work week.
